Laguna Beach local, Atler Hobie was a famous shaper with his boards rising popularity from the 50’s into the early 70’s. All while Dennis Ryder and Bill Hubina created Ventura local brand William Dennis in 1967. Photo shows a group of kids with their boards of choice.
