This wonderful sweater was made in the 1960s in the style of the Cowichan sweaters made by the Cowichan people native to British Columbia. Just like a traditional Cowichan sweater, this cardigan is made from a thick wool material ideal for cold weather, and it has a shawl style collar. Cowichans made by indigenous people often feature horizontal patterns knit using natural wool colors. This sweater features an image of a poodle full body onto the front and a poodle face on the back. This sweater also has a metal talon zipper and two front pockets.
